		<description>Ian - I would give the method that I described above a shot with your client.  Get them involved in the ideas and give them a stake in that.  If you can get them to buy into the ideas first and earn their trust, there may not be as much of a reason for them to feel the need to hover while you're toiling away in Photoshop or Visio, etc.</description>

Great post. What do you do if/when the client wants to literally stand behind you while you design? I've had this come up many times. I always say no. But is there a compromise that could work?
