I have recently switched internet browser from Chrome to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5. Now I seem to have a problem with loading sites that use Microsoft Silverlight. Everytime I browse site that requires Microsoft Silverlight, my browser crashes and I get a "npctrl.dll" error. I can't seem to find out how to fix the problem. And boy, do I have egg on my face for perpetuating a myth. One disadvantage of being around as long as I have, some pre-internet stories linger as they weren't properly checked. Consider this a lesson learned.
