This is such an incredible post.

We find that a lot of companies are reluctant to put so much freedom into the hands of their employees when it comes to their brand, and with just concern. However, what many don't realize is that the employees perspective of the company;s culture is the flesh and bone of an organization. If employees damage your brand, it may mean that you need to do some work from the inside out. Happy employees usually mean happier more appealing brands.

This post is very much in line with the philosophies and methodologies we use over at corner6labs. By leveraging proven team dynamics techniques as well as individual brand assessments, we have been able to help companies just entering the social media marketing game to talk the talk and walk the walk.

What a wonderful post! I love the idea of employee brands adding to the company's message. So many companies are afraid of the employee blog (and use the megaphone, as you rightly point out). I happen to have just written about this very issue, but from the point of view of urging all companies to allow the uncensored employee blog. Your blog post extends this conversation nicely, and I'll update my blog post to link to it. Thanks so much for the in-depth discussion and, most importantly, how an employee with a personal brand actually spreads the company's message into the broader online community.
@askdebra
p.s. Here is my blog post, in case you're curious: http://www.communityorganizer20.com/2009/10/02/why-uncensored-blogging-is-the-future-of-corporate-communications/

Rachelle, if you find that your clients or peers have more insights about this subject, do stop back and let us know. We're all in this together!

In a middle of this financial crisis, every effective way possible to sustain a company must be resorted to.

Branding is great way to identify a company from the rest especially from its competitor.
