1. What is your role at CM? How do you spend your days?
I’m an Account Manager on the Nissan USA account based in Nashville. I spend my days equally divided as a quarterback, cheerleader, referee, defensive line and offensive tackle. I’m never on the sidelines. (Sorry for the sports analogy).
2. What is the greatest thing about CM culture?
I think the greatest thing is you’re really able to chart your own career path. If there’s something that interests you, I’ve found management is pretty open. You can go to them with an idea and they’ll say, “Ok, make it happen.”
3. What drives you? What are you inspired by?
I’m driven by passionate people. People who zig when others are zagging. I love it when people share my philosophy of “it’s better to ask forgiveness than permission…”
4. What was your greatest accomplishment of the past year?
Personally it was getting engaged. Professionally it’s been transitioning from the Infiniti account over to Nissan and jumping into the Pathfinder launch.
5. What are your passions/interests outside of the workplace?
I love to travel… I love the sun. I want to love to run (but am still not there). I’m passionate about my family. I’m also passionate about chocolate and coffee.
6. Who do you most admire?
I most admire my girlfriend Suzie, who always reminds me no matter how crazy things get to breathe and keep both feet in today.
7. Any interesting Kelly-isms?
I was a TV reporter for 13 years and got to do some amazing things, including traveling with the Green Bay Packers and reporting from the sidelines at the Super Bowl. I was an agency producer for a number of years. I’m also a frustrated photographer who lives vicariously through the talents of others.
8. What is your favorite CM memory?
Actually, my first day of work… I walked into the Calgary office at the same time as another new employee who turned out to be Paulette Adams (VP, Client Partner on Infiniti).
9. How long have you been at CM?
About 520 days
10. The centering point for the CM brand is extraordinary experiences. What does extraordinary mean to you?
Going above and beyond what anyone expects because it’s just the right thing to do.
