President, Strategy

Neil began his career writing newsletters, editing books and doing freelance editorial. He continues that curiosity to get to and communicate the truth in his current role at Critical Mass. His role covers identifying and nurturing new technologies, techniques, and practices for Critical Mass and our clients. He guides our company and clients in making sense of the various new marketing tools and techniques at Critical Mass.
His industry experience is varied, having worked across several clients and industries ranging from technology to travel and consumer goods. He’s naturally curious but looks beyond the technology or method to understand the impact on both the organization and the consumer. With a career that has spanned positions on both the client and Interactive agency sides, Neil has an intense passion for leveraging the Internet to help our clients deepen relationships with their customers. He brings a range of insights and experiences to engagements, an innate understanding of how to think like a client, and a passion for implementing marketing strategies to achieve business results.
His most recent work has been leading strategy for clients including Home Depot, Rolex, Hyatt Hotels, and Mercedes-Benz USA and many others. Neil blends a disciplined marketing strategy background with technical and organizational insights. His career includes global marketing and sales leadership assignments at 3Com, U.S. Robotics, and Apple Computer.
